As a non-profit, we rely on our wonderful volunteers to make Kirk Centre a vibrant and welcoming community hub. Check out the positions below to see how you can help.
Love books? Passionate about reading? Come in once a month to manage our Little Free Library! Organize the bookshelves, swap out the books in the sidewalk library, choose a book to feature on our social media, and help promote free books in our community.
Information Distributor and Ambassador
We need help putting up posters, handing out fliers, and getting the word out about Kirk Centre and our events! This is an as-needed, occasional position.
Event Assistance
Do you have a few hours on a spare weekend or evening? We need help for our upcoming events in areas like set-up, take-down, welcoming guests, taking tickets, handing out water and snacks, etc. Let us know what you can do to help!

Gardening and Landscaping
Our beautiful lawn and gardens always need some TLC - help us with our grounds while getting out that gardening itch. Tend the Rose Garden, prune bushes, rake leaves, and help make Kirk Centre beautiful and inviting for all.
Seasonal Decorator
Do you have an eye for beauty and a love of interior decorating? We're looking for help decorating our facility for the seasons and holidays.
Goods Donation Manager
Our community is generous and when donations come in like clothes, books, dishes, and decorations, we need help sorting, screening, and organizing those donations.
Passionate about food security in Edmonton? Want to be a part of a grassroot project and make your mark? Come in twice a month to manage our Little Free Pantry! Organize and clean the shelves and overflow, add new items to the outdoor pantry, encourage new donations and help promote the closet within the community.
